POTATO STARCH
Norm: PN-93/A-74710 Potato starch is extracted in the process of wet separation of seeds from the other components, after which, the starch is purified, dried and sifted.
Potato starch has been widely used in the food industry as a thickening agent for soups, sauces, dressings, ketchup, etc.., in the production of jellies and puddings, in cake baking, in the meat processing as a thickening agent. And in the textile industry in the process of end-use finishing of fabrics as well. Moreover, it is used in the paper, mining, pharmaceutical and founding industries, as well as in the household. Additionally the potato starch is necessary for the production of flocculating agents, glues and other starch-based technical preparations.
